deep pleating worked in the skirting and bodice and hand placed work through the hem so it has the slightest drawing in to suggest a tulip silhouette

orange and purples with pops of yellow and whites

All came from a woman who traveled extensively and spent a lot of time in Morocco during the late 1970s and she apparently wore these there. She had these caftans custom made in a variety of color and fabric combinations.
