The body of the jacket is a inky black velvet so rich and luxurious looking and feeling. It has the most amazing heavily done, slightly 3D cord embroidery that has been said to have been done by Lesage. The peplum is exaggerated to the extreme so when buttoned it really stands out more so then how it has been captured in the photos there is actually a light stiffening
