Documented 1971 Malcolm Starr Sequin Covered Dress designer-lanvin The collar is in excellentI always love being able to date a piece and when this wonderful little Malcolm Starr dress landed in my studio I instantly remembered seeing it before. Its twin was used in a 1971 Harper's Bazaar editorial. The dress is a glamorous take on the more fitted silhouette of the day. The base fabric has a slight stretch to it and a gorgeous pattern that has a slight far East feel to it. Over this is are glossy clear sequins that entirely cover the dress.
