Conceived more than 80 years ago, The Sunday shoe was entirely handmade by women from the Fruili Venezua Giulia region in Italy. Their resourceful approach utilised re purposed materials available at the time, such as rubber from bicycle tyres and hessian from grain bags to make these incredible essential shoes. This lightweight shoe still today uses traditional methods of hand stitching the top part to the bottom part of the shoe
