M40 #42 Brit RAC #02 - ThisM40 #42 Shell: The shell is an original model 1940 type and is in good condition. Only the remnants of a tan coloured paint remained when acquired. The shell is in good condition with the effects of light rust pitting evident. The maker size stamp is ET64 (Eisenhutten) with a lot number stamp of 3494 are visible but lightly stamped. This shell was stripped to bare metal, primed then painted in grey green with a textured outer. An acceptance stamp has
